Experience Thai Paradise without ever leaving Fols
2008/8/29 11:06:55 This place is awesome! Having experienced dozens of Thai restaurants all over the Sacramento region, Thai Paradise in Folsom has the best food, service, and Thai Iced Tea/Thai Iced Coffee (you also get a free refill!).
From the moment I stepped in during their Grand Opening, I knew this was a special place and predicted it was going to be very popular with the locals. It is! The service is excellent... even with a full restaurant with everbody savoring the cuisine, I still get my Thai Iced Tea or iced water filled before I even ask. I love the fresh and authentic taste of all of their dishes and always leave extremely satisfied. I have frequented this restaurant and tasted just about all of their lunch specials and taken my friends and family here for dinner. It is a gastronomic paradise for everyone each time. When I leave, I am already thinking about my next visit ... craving for another taste in paradise.
If you like spicy, you can have them make your dish "Thai Spicy" and be ready to sweat. You can also order you dish without the heat or "American Mild" as my wife puts it. My 2.5 year old loved the Pad Thai and will even eat his vegetables here.
We hope that Thai Paradise will become your favorite Thai restaurant as it has for us. I'm going there for lunch again today... hope to see you there!

Excellence in Thai Dining
2008/7/23 15:24:31 We were delighted to find this place, after having discovered that our previous favorite (which rhymes with Tamarin) had become complacent. The Thai iced tea is always a favorite, but not every place delivers. I've had some bad tea in otherwise decent restaurants. Thai Paradise delivered a HUGE glass of tea, delightfully prepared, and it includes a free refill, a rarity for Thai tea. It was a little on the sweet/strong side, which is fine, because you can dilute it with ice water and it goes twice as far, and still tastes better than the stuff served across town.
The menu is good, and I hope they will continue to expand and improve on it. In particular, I'd love to see them add Maeng Kham to the menu. It's not often found, but when it is, it is a welcome addition to the menu.
The prices are on the high side, and the portions a little on the small side. But the quality is high enough to justify it, so they are to be forgiven.
