The Folsom Karate Academy is a family owned and operated martial arts school. Its martial arts curriculum and approach to instruction is designed to give students the most out of their training by focusing on real life skills and lasting personal fitness results, all the while having a great time and meeting new people. Typical class subjects consist of a blend of cardio, strength, fitness, and self-defense training.
Extracurricular classes are offered as well, including yoga, Tai Chi, Wu Shu, competition training, and seminars that range from parent/child activities to stranger danger seminars for kids, and advanced grappling workouts for adults and teens. The instructors are highly trained and highly motivated individuals who strive to create the most positive learning environment for their students.
The Folsom Karate Academy is also the founder of the Folsom Safety Network, a non-profit outreach program dedicated not only to increasing child safety awareness in the community but also giving children real skills and attitudes that are practiced and polished should they encounter a predator.
