We are serious about sleep. European Sleep Design’s mattress design has been refined based on knowledge gained from 25 years of analyzing scientific data. The result: a mattress that provides more healthful and sound sleep, is more durable, and yet costs less than other premium mattresses.

Our Unique Design:

We decided the traditional mattress design just wasn't good enough. Our sleep systems consist of two units - the mattress itself and an adjusting slat suspension that's based on the European sleep design and style but incorporating modifications that result in even better performance.

****Reduced exposure to harmful substances****

European Sleep Design organic cotton and wool mattress covers and pure natural latex foam have been tested for harmful substances according to the Swiss Association Oeko-Tex's Standard 100, and have been certified to meet the human-ecological requirements of their current standard for mattresses…free of harmful chemicals and safe for consumers.

Oeko-Tex substance testing includes: substances which are prohibited by law, such as carcinogenic dyestuffs substances which are regulated by law, such as formaldehyde, softeners, heavy metals or pentachlorophenol substances which according to current knowledge are harmful to health, but which are not yet regulated or prohibited by law, such as pesticides, allergy-inducing dyestuffs or tin-organic compounds parameters such as colourfastness and a skin-friendly pH-value, which are precautionary measures to safeguard consumers heath
