Refrigerator repair
"The refrigerator gods have smiled upon me! Picking Folsom Lake Appliance happened only because of the name, and the fact that whenever possible, I like to keep my business local. When I first called, I was told the soonest appointment would be tomorrow, but after hearing my tale of woe. the very nice gentleman agreed to try to work me in today. Within 30 minutes of calling, a repairman was at my front door! He went right to work, and within 10 minutes, had diagnosed the problem. Because they carry many parts with them, he had the parts needed with him, and was able to repair it in record time. I asked for several cards. I will most certainly recommend this company and especially, Sergio Navarro. He was competent, professional, and fast!"

Refrigerator Repair
"My refrigerator was leaking and this company had the fastest response time. The repairman came on time with the parts necessary to complete the repair. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Very pleased with the service. "

Terrible service
"July 20, 2011 -- requested service call for our Maytag Side-By-Side refrigerator. The technician said we needed a new contnrol of the ice/ice s=cube control and that the part would take approximately one week to arrive. August 1 (two weeks later) - Didn't hard anything from Forsome about new part so I called to inquire about status of the order. The man said he would check on it and call me "right back." Didn't happen. August 2 - received a phone call from Folsom saying that they overnighted the part and it would be installed on Friday, 8/5. (I suspect the part had never been ordered in the first place.) In answer to his question for morning or afternoon, I requested afternoon and asked for a window. I was told "afternoon after 12." and that the technician would call first. August 5- I cancelled my plans for that afternoon and waited for the technician to arrive. At 4:10 my husband called Folsom to see if the technician was still coming. He was disconnected. He immediately called again, but this time they didn't answer the phone and he left a message on the voice mail to please, please, please call and let us know what is going on. At 4:45 I called and was told over and over that they are having phone problems. I received no reason for the no-show. The man said they would install the part on Monday, 8/8 before 10. During that call, I suggested that a technician could use a cell phone to call and say they were delayed or were not coming. The man in the office said we don't provide cell phones to our technicians and we don't expect them to use their personal phone. Sunday afternoon (8/7) about 5 p.m., a woman called to say she was returning my husband's call from Friday. It was only during that conversation was I told our service call had never been put on the schedule. After much discussion, it became very appaarent that the woman didn't want to talk to me any longer, so I said good-bye. August 8, at 8:50 the technician called (on his personal cell phone) to say that he would be here in 10 minutes, and he was! it took him 10 minutes to install the part. The technician is a very personal and knowledgeable young man. When he came the first time, we felt that he represents a company we want to do business with. NOT ANY MORE."

Fast & reasonable.
"Fridge went out on Sat. Called Mon 9am. Appt. made for noon-4pm. Got call @ 2:45. Scott arrived soon after & fridge was diagnosed & back up soon after. Price was reasonable. Thanks for the $20 coupon! If there are any more problems, I will call you guys first!"
