my bad experience
" I ordered a chicken chow mein for dining in this evening and i found a black hair in it, so i tried to speak with the manager, she didn't even apolagize or offer a discount, i don't believe it the food was served cold and the hair seasoning plus the service is bad. this will be my first and last time going to this place."

China House
"Erin D must work for China House she talked this place way up. Just ate there tonight 12/19/08 and the food was just plain jane, and is comparable to the chinese food you would find in a mall. Cold and the pork in the fried rice was chunks of little red fat pieces. Grose. The lady who took my order over the phone even questioned me about my area code when she asked for my number, thinking I was pulling a prank. Are you kidding me? Bad idea to question a customer. Must be the same lady who didn't take the coupon from another user...f.y.i. China House, accept the coupon and take the "hit" thus providing better service and keeping patrons. "

Terrible service
"We went to China House for dinner on Sun, Aug 10. We had printed out a really nice coupon ($24.95 for dinner for four) from Folsom Living (www.folsomliving.com/modules/xdirectory/print.php?lid=510&print=1&code=0). The coupon expired on Aug 11. When we showed it to the waitress, who was also the manager, she tried to convince us that it was Aug 11, and the coupon had expired. When she realized that she couldn't really change the date to suit her, she said that she did not know anything about the coupon and would not accept it. Needless to say, we did not have dinner at China House. "

Cure for the Ordinary
"In a town full of Chinese food joints, it is refreshing to get a consistently good meal from an established place. They offer great basics like chow mein and sweet and sour chicken, and the new dinner combos are great for one person or if the two of you want different things. However, this restaurant shines in their specialties - shrimp and chicken on a sizzling platter, corn and scallop soup, and hand-made potstickers (most of the others in the area are pre-packaged). That combined with great quality beef and large shrimp all for a GREAT price - you can't beat it! Don't pay too much at Jenni's - try China House, and get it delivered!"

Yuck
"Yuck pretty much says it. Very less than average, especially when there are so many in the area that are at least average. Don't waste your time, unless you really want to."

China House
"I have dined in, ordered take out from, and had food delivered by China House. The food is great. Delivery is usually pretty efficient. If there is a long wait for delivery, they will tell you when you place your order. Take out orders are faster on busy nights. My favorites are sesame chicken, szechuan spicy beef and the won ton soup. They offer a dinner special in a lot of the local papers- a full meal for 4 for about $26! Definitely worth it. The lunch specials are also quite reasonably priced. Service varies based on how busy the restaurant is, but in general a great place to eat."
