best meal in awhile
"a group of friends and I went out to eat at Scotts, it had been awhile sense I had eaten there. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was supurb. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I think they serve the best salmon for the money anytime of year. In my group there were two people from Mexico who were very surprised at how little the meal cost for what we got. I will always take my guest and friends there for lunch and dinner. Also service is #1 in my book and Scotts does service right."

Not good at all.
"If you charge $20 for a small piece of halibut then you better get it right. Apparently, to be a cook in a seafood restaurant you don't actually have to know how to cook seafood. I ordered my halibut off of their gluten free menu because I didn't want my fish fried in oil and crumbs so when I got my meal I was surprised that it was still crusted. After a few bites I realized they ahd commited screw up number 1. I alerted my waitress and asked if this was the normal way they cooked the halibut or if this was the gluten free way of preparing the halibut. You could see the life get sucked out of her when she realized what I was eating, it was like a balloon losing its air. She apologised and took my meal back. 15 minutes later my meal was returned this time the gluten free way. Here was where screw number 2 started. Not only was this new serving of halibut about half the size of the first it was totally transparent. Of course I figured this out after I took bites. If I had wanted sushi I would have gone to The Maguro. Again, I alerted my waitress. Again, she was in disbelief. So she took it back again. 15 minutes later she brought my meal back. Here was screw up number 3. Yes the halibut was now cooked but it was OVER-cooked, way over cooked. And did they bring me a new piece to make up for all of this hassle? Nope they over cooked the same small piece of fish. So you'd think after this they would comp my my meal. Think again. We walked out of there with a $60 bill for barely edible food and a lasting memory. Unfortunately this memory will prevent me from ever returning to Scott's."

Best seafood in town
"My wife and I really enjoyed our meal. The way it was prepared gave us ideas for grilling fish at home on our own BBQ."

Business Lunch
"Service was impeccable, layout was pleasant, portions on the large size. This was a business working lunch and we ordered a diverse range of selections (dungeness crab/avocado melt, skirt steak, fried prawns with fried carrot sticks). All were prepared as requested. The NE Clam Chowder was warm heavy cream but when I stated I did not care for it the waiter whisked it away and replaced it with the bisque (tasted much better). The waiter was experienced, knew when to approach and the proper method of serving as well as being friendly and helpful. Good service is rare these days. I would recommend this restaurant. "

excellent seafood+ steaks
"Food was fantastic service was almost to perfection. I had the filet with scallops and the presentation was beautiful. I ordered it med-rare and it was moist and could use a fork to cut it. My wife had the seared rare AHI tuna and loved it!! I was told by my waiter that they had an updated wine list that served high end wines by the glass. We each had a glass of SILVER OAK CAB!!! Desert was delicious, must try the cheese cake or the lava cake. Had a great experiance will be back many more times. AA++"

Waste of $$
"Restaurant is very loud, portions are decent size but meat is always undercooked. (Apparently the chefs think they know better than the customer). Food is decent, but at this price the selection should be better and the food shouldn't be so bland. Would not recommend this restaurant unless you had a free dinner."
